Description
TMP Quick Disconnect Thermocouples are available with both miniature and standard size connector termination. These rugged probes feature a variety of calibration types, sheath materials and diameters, and are available wiith an ungrounded junction. The TMPKQD05 is a standard quick disconnect thermocouple. It is Type K, the sheath material is XL and has a diameter of 0. 125. XL probes have a very low drift and are for use in high temperature applications up to 1335 degrees C. This high temperature probe can be mated with a standard female universal connector with a signal amplifier built in. All temperature probes are rated at the tolerance standard SLE, (Special Limits of Error), which is +/- 2 C degrees of error. This is half of the standard tolerance grade, providing the highest accuracy possible in the temperature sensing industry.

This one worked. Second one I ordered, one from another supplier. First one was dead. Battery is supposed to last for 5 years, it's an "always on" setup. Mine first one did last the 5 years. I use this on my milling machine powered by a VFD.
