Inline Helical Speed Reducers
A gear reducer is used in various applications to adapt the torque and speed of the input and output axis of a mechanism. There are four main kinds of reducers: planetary, bevel, gear train and worm gear reducers. Inline helical gear reducers are more powerful than spur gears and produce less noise too due to their higher meshing ratios. The tooth traces of helical gears are slanted and strong. Helical gears are mainly used for power transmission. The mechanical devices are called inline due to their arrangement of gears with parallel axes. These gear reducers are highly efficient with a rate between 95% and 98%regardless of the speed ratio. Inline helical gearboxes are preferred in most industrial applications due to their closely stepped ratios and low backlash, high permissible radial forces and robust nature.
