Ratio Multipliers
A motor multiplier is an economical choice to a multi-reduction reducer or gearbox. Ratio multipliers or motor multipliers are useful tools in providing additional ratios for inventory flexibility or when used alone as 5 to 1 reducers. They increase or reduce input speed when combined with right angle units for high ratios. There are many uses of the motor multiplier like installing between a c-face speed reducer and the motor. When used in this manner, they effectively replace the need for double reduction speed reducers. A major advantage of motor multipliers is that they are compact in size thus allowing you to use a gearbox that may already have on hand.
