With a superior combination of flex and load, the PowerBand construction consists of multiple V-belts joined together by a permanent, high strength tie band that functions as a single unit. This means a tougher, more stable solution with even load distribution and each strand fitting securely in the sheave groove.

Combines the strength of a wrapped belt construction with the economies of a narrow section V-belt. • Aramid tensile cords combine limited stretch with extraordinary strength and durability that is pound-for-pound stronger than steel. Flex-bonded cords are strongly secured to the body of the belt for equal load distribution of bending stress without cord deterioration.
• Distinctive green backing provides protection with machined sidewalls that provide even sheave groove contact for smooth operation, less slip and reduced wear.
• Patented Ethylene compound and optimized notches molded into the belt during manufacturing increase flexibility for compatibility with small diameter sheaves.
• Tested to transmit an average of 50% more horsepower than standard Super HC Molded Notch belts. Available on demand in Matched sets (not V80 program eligible).
• Meets ARPM/RMA IP-3-2 oil and heat resistant standards and IP-3-3 static conductivity requirements.REACH and RoHS 2 compliant.
