Gates 10/8V1400 Super HC PowerBand V-Belt with 8V narrow-wedge section, 140.0" outside length, and 10-band construction. Designed for heavy-duty industrial drives requiring high shock-load capacity and resistance to belt turnover. Features fiber-loaded EPDM compound and multiple belts joined by a permanent tie-band for stable, vibration-resistant performance.

The Tie Band assures high lateral rigidity, guiding the belt in a straight line and preventing it from coming off the drive. Concave sidewalls provide proper cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove for equal loading and uniform wear. |
