3VX425 Narrow Cogged V-Belt is a high horsepower energy saver which features a molded cog design. When the proven reliability, economy and efficiency of conventional V-belts are combined with an innovative molded cog design, belt users reap important benefits! The oil and heat resistant top cover protects the belt from damage while contributing to the belt's dimensional stability. The cover stock is bias cut to provide lateral stability while allowing axial flexibility. Stability is assured through the use of the newly formulated fiber loaded Banprene cushion stock that maintains cord "lay" integrity and uniform distribution of load transmission. Precision molded cogs provide for optimum flexibility with a minimum of hear build-up. Flexing generates heat, heat will shorten belt life the two factors that increase replacement costs and downtime. The fiber loaded compression section provides the gripping action and high coefficient of fiction a conventional cut-edge construction while at the same time, allowing an initial start-up clutching action to eliminate power spikes and excessive bearing loading.

My mistake? fixed!
I needed a 3L330 V-Belt and somehow I think either I typed 5L330 although I was using an online conversion chart to match up belt numbers which might have had a typo there. The delivery is always good from MRO. I contacted MRO by email late that night after work with my silly situation and then rather than wait for a reply I ordered the right belt number so I could get the job done. I got a reply the next morning with instructions for the return procedure then the very next day I had the right belt delivered. Then I received another two contacts from the returns agent and customer support agent both telling me not to return the wrong belt and I would be refunded the purchase amount. Outstanding helpful support and the 'fastest delivery in the west'. MRO people are the best all around. Great products and extensive choices. I am retired now after 50 years in manufacturing equipment operations and maintenance with Nashua then Kellogg's but still I love working on machines and fixing things. MRO is a great source for many things even as small as a lawn & garden V-Belt they take care of the little guy too. Great people at MRO Supply.
