Model PZ gearmotors
have the same mounting dimensions as Bodine model D and Z, Baldor/Boehm, Bison 100 gearmotors, and a number of Dayton gearmotors.
Mechanical Specifications
Precision machined in-line steel gears, with a first stage steel helical gear followed by spur-type gears. Lubrication is permanent semi-fluid grease, reducing possibility of leakage. Output shafts have needle bearings for high load capacities. Shafts are hardened steel. Conduit Box not included with motor.
Application Notes
These gearmotors are designed for mounting at any angle, but motor below the reducer should be avoided to prevent leakage of lubricant into the motor should the motor shaft seal fail. The motor’s stall torque could exceed recommended full load torques. If this service is anticipated, a current limiting device should be used. This issue is even more critical for low voltage motors, typically no controller is used since motor connected directly to battery, so some type of current limit or fusing should be considered. Overhung load capacities shown are at the center of output shaft.

Product fine shipping not so much
The Leeson motor was fine and worked as it should. The shipping however had alot to be desired. I know the product was coming from the Allentown warehouse which is about a 35 min drive but still took 4 days to get here and when it arrived the box was trashed. I know this is not your fault and is more of a FedEx issue but something to be aware of.

I am just now installing these 2 quality motors. This review is more for the staff at MRO Supply. One of my 2 existing motors died just as my boat was barely high enough to be firmly on the lift at high tide. The replacement was out of stock. Within 24 hours I was helped with the various options, pricing and then a very quick turn around to get my order shipped. Great Price, Good brand we have used many times. Price was really good and made it here ok thankfully. Would give 5 Stars but motor was loose in box when it got here and there was a hole almost punched through to the outside form shaft so some extra padding inside would have been cool, But it was free shipping so I can't complain that much. Would and will use again. Great Service!
