For the removal of broken screws, studs, bolts or pipe fitting.
The left hand rotation of the tapered flutes forces out almost any right hand threaded part. Penetrating oil can be helpful in removing rusty or corroded parts.
Application
For the removal of broken screws, studs, bolts or pipe fitting. To remove a broken screw, drill a hole in a broken screw with the recommended diameter drill. Insert the proper screw extractor into the hole and start counterclockwise (left-hand) rotation.

Big thanks to MRO for finding the METRIC version of this kit. Gotta have SAE AND Metric in todays world. My Only suggestion would be to put a bit of foam inside each case so the drills/taps don't hit the case endlessly as they travel across the good old USA!
