Starrett 449MBZ-75R depth micrometer from the 449M series offers a 0 to 75 mm measuring range with 0.01 mm resolution and graduations. This mechanical depth gage features a ratchet thimble for consistent pressure and a 4-inch base. Accuracy is +/-0.0025 mm for the micrometer head and +/-0.005 mm for the rods.

The Starrett 449, 449M Series Micrometer Depth Gage with Non-Rotating Blade includes a .045" thick x 1/8" wide (1.2 x 3.2mm) blade that can be turned with the fingers and positioned at any angle relative to the base. In operation, the blade does not turn, but moves perpendicularly only, permitting depth measurement of narrow shoulders without the blade rolling off.
