Convenience in Motor Start andProtection

SSW05 soft-starters are static starters designed for motoracceleration, deceleration and protection. The control of thevoltage applied to the motor, by adjusting the firing angleof the thyristors, provides smooth starts and stops. Byproperly setting the variables, the obtained torque isadjusted to the load requirement, ensuring the minimumnecessary starting current.

The SSW05, featuring DSP control (Digital SignalProcessor),is designed for optimal performance inmotor start and stop, with excellent cost effectiveness. Theyincorporate all the protections for you electric motor, inaddition to being easily set, simplifying the start-upactivities and daily operations. Their compact dimensionscontribute to the optimization of spaces in electricalpanels.

Free SuperDrive ProgrammingSoftware

Programming software via personal computer in Windowsenvironment for parameter setting, command and monitoring ofthe SSW05 Plus. It allows you to edit parameters on-line, andparameter files stored on the microcomputer off-line.

It is possible to store parameter files of all the SSW05Plus units present in the application. The SuperDrive alsoincludes functions to transfer the parameter set from thepersonal computer to the SSW05 Plus and vice versa. Thecommunication between the soft-starter and personal computer isdone via RS232 serial interface.
