The WEG SSW070085T5SZ is an SSW07 series advanced soft starter rated for 85 amps and universal three-phase line voltages of 220-575VAC. This reduced voltage starter features closed-loop torque control, an integrated AC1 bypass contactor, and a built-in class 10 electronic overload relay. It provides smooth acceleration and deceleration for motors up to 75 HP at 460V, with pump control mode to reduce water hammer.

The SSW07 soft-starter is a static starter, designed for the acceleration, deceleration and protection of three-phase induction motors by controlling the voltage applied to the motor. Compact, it contributes to optimizing spaces in electric panels, and it has all the protections for the electric motor, adapting to the application requirements through optional accessories, which can be easily installed on the soft-starter.

New 40hp motor
We had our 40hp compressor go down. We determined over the weekend that a motor winding was bad. First think Monday morning I consulted with the techs at MRO and verified that the manufacturer had a replacement in stock so I placed the order. The new motor (600 lbs) arrived on Wednesday... WOW. Granted the motor was in Georgia and we are in Tennessee but still the service and speedy delivery was incredible!
